Mantras for the New Year 2021
As we enter into the New Year, we can go into it one of two ways... with a positive outlook or a negative one. Which one do you think will give you the most positive outcome?
If you said positive outlook, then you're right. So I'm here to encourage you to do just that.
The more we focus on the positive the more that positive will appear in our lives. It's the simple law of attraction. I have in fact witnessed what believing in something so much can actually bring into your life. I dreamed up living in Argentina, working remotely, teaching yoga in different countries, and much more!
I will say, however, with each thing that I have dreamed up, I have also been tested in countless ways to see if I will continue to overcome even while staring in the face of negativity.
It's hard, but I would much rather fight the hard moments in a positive mindset rather than one that drags me down to the depths of despair.
During difficult moments, I like to find ways that uplift me to a better headspace, one of those ways can be repeating mantras and positive thoughts.
Below are some mantras that you can take with you into 2021 to reinforce that positive mindset and help you to pass any test that life throws at you while trying to manifest your dreams.
"Life (God) doesn't give me more than I can handle."
I like to look at life like this... in order to get what we want, we first have to learn the skills to get there. Unfortunately, some of those lessons require blood, sweat, and tears. Hey, I don't make the rules, I just go with them.
So if you look at your troubles as lessons and tests to pass in order to get you to the next level, you'll still hate it, but you'll do what you need to do to get there. If you were guaranteed to get what you want after passing this terrible level in the game called life.. would you do it?
"Life is what I make it."
We don't have all the control but we sure do have a heck of a lot. If we spend our day working in a job that we hate, eating chips on the sofa, and binging on Netflix, then that is the life that we are creating for ourselves. No judgment if this is what you want, but if you don't want that, then why would you continue to live your life that way.
Life is truly what we make it. If we want something, we have to work towards it. If you want to be a food blogger, you're not going to become a blogger by not writing blogs. If you want to become a photographer, you're not going to become one by staring at the wall daydreaming. You have to work at it, you have to perform the actions, you have to put yourself out there.
The worst thing you can do for accomplishing your goals is to take no action towards them.
"Solutions"
Yes, mantras can be only one word. If there is a problem, there is always a solution. Just because you've tried one way, even two ways, or three ways doesn't mean the third, fourth, or fifth way won't finally work for you.
Where there is a will, there is a way. If you want something bad enough, you can get it. Even if you can't reach your exact goal, you will be much closer and will reach a much more desirable place than if you hadn't tried.
Look at your problems like a puzzle, and start to solve them. You have the solutions, you just need to put in the effort.
"We are all human."
No one lives in our reality and we don't live in anyone else's. We may be able to relate to others, and we may even understand them to a certain extent, but our realities are all our own.
This doesn't mean you need to suffer in someone's presence because they are human, it just means that even if we must separate ourselves from someone else's life, we still need to realize that they are human and we will never completely understand their reality.
Everyone isn't made for everyone, but we should offer everyone the bare minimum which is respect.
" Failure is an opportunity to improve."
We must fail to succeed. One doesn't happen without the other. Taking risks creates opportunities to learn, grow, and reach the desired outcome. When something doesn't work out the way that we expect it to, we can take a look at what we did and course-correct in order to find a better way, for a better outcome.
Never look at failure as only that. Instead, look at it as what not to do and an indicator of what works and what doesn't.
There is always room for growth, but if you don't push through failure, you'll never get a chance to see it.
2020 was honestly one of the best years of my life, and I owe it all to my mindest. It could have been a lot different for me if I chose to focus on the negatives like not being able to visit my family that I haven't seen in 2 years, or not being able to explore this beautiful country that I moved to, but instead, I chose to focus on what I could do with this year.
I was able to do so much in just one year, that I've been wanting to do for many years of my life. I was able to accomplish goals, save money, start a business, and make money doing the things that I love. I saw the opportunity and went for it.
I hope these mantras can help you do the same in 2021!
